Quality and sustainability are crucial aspects in our production chain. Our silk prints are exclusively designed by us. For our collections we use 100% 19 mm silk satin which we have produced in a small silk print manufactory in Switzerland. From there, our silk fabrics go to Portugal where they enter the manufacturing step outside of Porto. We spend around one month a year visiting our suppliers and manufacturers. Thereby we personally oversee all production and make sure that all production steps adhere to our strict chemical and sustainability standards including OEKO TEX as well as fair labour and environmental terms.
Durability is very important to us and we want to make sure that you enjoy your MARCHA item for as long as possible. In order to do so we suggest to follow our care instructions. Silk is one of the most luxurious and delicate fabrics therefore it needs to be treated carefully. One of the natural characteristics of silk is that it does not like to get in touch with water. However, if you do want to clean your garment we suggest to hand wash it at 30° using special detergent or, ideally, to have it dry cleaned. If you wash silk too hot it might loose its natural shine.
Do not tumble dry. After removing the garment from the washing machine hang it up immediately.
